What a kids' visit looks like

We keep first visits short and friendly. Your child gets to see the room, meet the team and have a ride in the chair. We count and check their teeth, clean them if they are ready for it, and talk with you about brushing, diet and habits like thumb sucking.

When should my child first see the dentist?

The Canadian Dental Association recommends a first visit by age one, or within six months of the first tooth coming in. Starting early lets us catch small problems and helps the dental office feel familiar.

Parents stay close

There is a private waiting area made just for parents right beside the kids' room, so you are never far away during your child's appointment.

For nervous kids

We go slowly and never force a visit. For children who need a little extra help, nitrous oxide is available. We also offer laser treatment for tongue ties and lip ties.
